This project started as a simple “shower thought”. Could I build jsFiddle inside jsFiddle? After a few minutes of “fiddling”, it was clear that the answer was Yes! Below is the crude code of that first iteration. No idea for how long, but the original fiddle can be found HERE. Prototype Code HTML <button id="run" onclick="runContent()">run</button> <div class="box"> <div class="col"> <textarea id="html"></textarea> <textarea id="javascript"></textarea> </div> <div class="col"> <textarea id="css"></textarea> <iframe src="" id="frame"> </iframe> </div> </div> Javascript var frame = document....

First Hugo Post

This is the first post on this new space on the web. I’ve tried my hand at blogging a few times over the years though it hasn’t borne much fruit. I’ve scraped old content from various places on the web and archived them here. It is my intention to continue producing content(hopefully of greater quality of what is currently found here). Wish me luck!

Is This Thing On?

Wow. All that blabbering in my last post about wanting to start blogging and not just updating when I decide it’s time for a new site layout. Goodness we humans sure are creatures of habit. Annnnywho, I started this post simply just to check whether or not the new_post script I wrote months ago works as it should. I am currently working on a new layout for this site and with that should come some new posts....

Cleaning House

So about this blogging thing. I have built and rebuilt my personal blog more times than I care to admit. And every time I do this, I delete all of my previous posts. I do this for one reason. It’s because they were completely disposable. You see it has never been about the actual content for me. It has always been about the process of creating something. Whether it’s just configuring some Wordpress page or taking a stab at building my own framework with Sinatra, it is the process of creating that blog space that I really enjoy....

My blog is 1 month old

And I didn’t even realize it. I had all but completely forgot about this damn thing. Well I suppose things are much the same as they were during the last post. Chad and I have been working on our app together for just over a month. We have accomplished quite a bit in such a short period of time. I can’t wait to see where this adventure leads me. Hopefully it leads me to a new career where I can make my own hours and work from home!...

What a day

Well these past few days have been productive if I do say so myself…and I do. I’ve had the past 4 days off from the day job with one more tomorrow. We’ve enjoyed delicious hamburgers with an old friend, played outside, burned up lots of yard crap, had some good quality time with my wife, and as of a few minutes ago I am finial starting to see some light shine on the web app development framework that I hope to master in the near future....

So this is blogging

I have always been a technology guy but the bandwagon I have yet to jump on is blogging. I guess I did do some blogging in my past as a livejournal user. That seemed to be more of a social networking tool in its early form. So here it is, my wordpress page. Undoubtedly few people will ever find or even read this. Time to get back to work. Ruby on Rails isn’t going to learn itself....
